Product Description
Cortec’s Cooling Loop Gator® MF is a molybdate-free version of a revolutionary layup product that offers simple, safe, easy, and effective corrosion protection for cooling water systems. It satisfies a growing need to address molybdate restrictions in the water treatment industry. Cooling Loop Gator® MF is made of Vapor® phase Corrosion Inhibitor (VpCI®) powder packaged in polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) water-soluble bags. Developed for seasonal, short-term, or long-term layup, Cooling Loop Gator® MF protects enclosed spaces for up to 12 months. Once the bag and powder dissolve, the Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitors adsorb on all metal surfaces, reaching recessed areas and interior cavities. The inhibitors form a strong molecular layer on the metal that protects in both the liquid and vapor phase.
Packaging and Storage
Cooling Loop Gator® MF is available in 2.2 lb (1 kg) bags, four bags per box. Dimensions: 10” x 14” (25 cm x 35 cm).
To ensure best product performance, store in original packaging, indoors, and out of direct sunlight at 40-100 °F (4-38 °C).
