EcoLine® Surface Reveal

Product Description

EcoLine® Surface Reveal is a green-chemistry paint stripper designed to remove coatings and resin from metal surfaces. Formulated with biodegradable materials, EcoLine® Surface Reveal contains 77% USDA certified biobased ingredients, and is completely free of methylene chloride, NMP (n-methylpyrrolidone), chlorinated and aromatic solvents, or acetone. Unlike methylene chloride-based products, which dry quickly upon application, the relatively low volatility of EcoLine® Surface Reveal allows the product to remain on the surface to soften, penetrate, and remove the coating.

Packaging and Storage

EcoLine® Surface Reveal is available in 5 gallon (19 L) pails and 55 gallon (208 L) drums. The product should be tightly sealed in its original container away from heat sources and direct sunlight.

Shelf life: 2 years

Application

EcoLine® Surface Reveal can be used in dip tank applications, as well as brushed or rolled onto coated surfaces. Once evenly distributed, allow sufficient time for the product to penetrate and soften the coating.

For acrylic and alkyd coatings, the stripping time is 15–30 minutes. The exact time can vary and should be determined on an individual basis. Removal can be assisted by light mechanical action (wire or plastic brush). For large objects and surfaces, pressure washing is ideal for a quick surface cleaning. Coatings with multiple layers may require multiple applications for complete removal. Please contact Cortec® Technical Service for questions on specific applications.

• Use EcoLine® Surface Reveal in dips tanks and on horizontal surfaces 
• The product comes ready to use — do not dilute  
• Stripping waste should be contained and disposed of according to local regulations
