S-10 Corrosion Inhibitor

S-10 protects against corrosion in the condensate line of boiler systems. Carbon dioxide is released when feed water containing carbonates and bicarbonates is heated. The carbon dioxide dissolves in the water contained in the condensate line, forming corrosive carbonic acid.
S-10, with its high volatility, is carried in the system along with carbon dioxide and steam. It will neutralize the acid upon its formation,
preventing the corrosive action of carbonic acid.
