Product Description

S-14 Bio Powder is a biobased anti-scaling inhibitor for cooling towers and other open-loop recirculating cooling systems. S-14 Bio is a water soluble powder. It is non-toxic, non-hazardous, and readily biodegradable.

In contrast to other commonly used antiscalant products such as phosphonates and poly acrylates, S-14 Bio Powder does not attack steel or aluminum. In addition, S-14 Bio Powder protects galvanized steel.

Application and Dosage

S-14 Bio Powder should be added to the make-up water at the rate of 5-10ppm.

Packaging and Storage

S-14 Bio Powder is packaged in 5 lb (2.3 kg), 50 lb (22.7 kg) bags, and 100 lb (45.4 kg) drums. Product should be stored in a tightly closed container.

Shelf life is 2 years.
