Cortec G-29 Corrosion Inhibitor for Copper and Brass Alloys

Product Description

G-29 is an alkanolamine salt of tolyltriazole for corrosion inhibition of copper, brass, bronze and non-ferrous metals. G-29 is primarily designed for metal working fluid formulations. However, it has applications wherever corrosion protection for copper, brass, bronze and ferrous metals is required. G-29 is oil-soluble, but can be used in oil-in-water emulsions.

Dosage

The recommended dosage will vary depending on each application. Please consult a Cortec representative for a specific recommendation. Common concentration range in final dilution is 50-1000 ppm depending upon the level of protection desired and corrosivity of the system.

Packaging

G-29 is available in 5 gallon (19 liter), 55 gallon (208 liter) drums, liquid totes, and bulk. Product should be stored in heated warehouse conditions to avoid freezing. Shelf life is 24 months.
