Product Description

MCI®-2061 (liquid) and MCI®- 2061 P (powder) are biologicallybased cleaners/degreasers f o r m u l a t e d f o r c l e a n i n g concrete, asphalt, and other hard surfaces such as fixtures and equipment. These formulas are unique because they combine advanced cleaning agents with a concentrated microbial blend capable of biodegrading a broad spectrum of hydrocarbons that stain concrete and other hard surfaces.

MCI®-2061/MCI®-2061 P will degrade a wide range of hydrocarbons including (but not limited to) gasoline, diesel, crude oil, benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene, and xylene. The powder version, MCI®-2061 P, is ideal for use in applications where liquid cleaning solutions are less effective.

Packaging & Storage

MCI®-2061 is available in 1 gallon (3.785 L) jugs, 5 gallon (19 L) pails, and 55 gallon (208 L) drums.

MCI®-2061 P is available in bulk, 9 oz (250 g) water-soluble pouches (40 per container), and custom packaging.

To ensure best product performance, store in original packaging, indoors, and out of direct sunlight at 40-100 °F (4-38 °C).

How it works

MCI®-2061/MCI®-2061 P are formulated with biodegradable surfactants and are used like other hard-surface cleaners. The initial cleaning action is due to the surfactant component of the product, and secondary cleaning action is due to the microorganism component. The microorganisms in MCI®-2061/MCI®-2061 P are preserved bacterial spores that remain inactive until the product is applied. When MCI®- 2061/ MCI®-2061 P are used according to instructions, the spores germinate into active microorganisms. Spores that remain in the substrate after rinsing continue to degrade residual hydrocarbon constituents of the stain that weren’t removed in the initial cleaning process. Spores that are rinsed away will remain active and work to purify hydrocarbons in the rinse water. MCI®-2061/MCI®-2061 P are environmentally friendly alternatives that eliminate the need for harsh solvent-based and alkaline cleaners. With biodegradable surfactants, a neutral pH, no solvents, and no VOCs, MCI®-2061/MCI®-2061 P make it easy to maintain a cleaner and healthier facility
