Product Description

Nuclear Grade-69 MF Liquid (Nuclear Grade-69 MF L) is a Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitor (VpCI) developed as corrosion prevention additives for the water treatment industry. This inhibitor provides multimetal protection, including carbon and stainless steel, aluminum alloys, zirconium, and yellow metals. The VpCIs form a strong monomolecular layer on the metal surface that protects in all three phases- liquid, vapor, and the vapor-liquid interface.

Typical Applications

Nuclear Grade-69 MF L is an anticorrosion additive for water treatment formulations to replace chromates, nitrites, phosphonates, and other types of restricted corrosion inhibitors. Nuclear Grade-69 MF L is easy to apply, thermo stable, and resistant to degradation under variable water chemistry and application conditions; including sea water and near to boiling temperature.

Dosage Rates

a) Closed loop-brine
Concentration of Nuclear Grade-69 MF L under operating conditions for a closed loop system formulation is 5-25%.

b) Closed loop-fresh water
Concentration of Nuclear Grade-69 MF L under operating conditions for a closed loop system formulation start at 0.75-1.0%.

Nuclear Grade-69 MF L is available in 5 gallon (19 liter) pails, 55 gallon (208 liter) drums, liquid totes, and bulk.
