Product Description

VpCI-617 is a water-based corrosion inhibitor designed to protect low to medium pressure boilers and other equipment made from steel and copper during operation.

VpCI-617 provides improved heat transfer efficiency and longer equipment life by protecting the system from corrosive attack and harmful insulating deposits. This multifunctional product contains an antiscalant to handle high mineral waters. It also neutralizes the acids present in condensate systems and depletes oxygen to prevent damage to boiler systems

Recommended Dosage

The recommended dosage of VpCI-617 will depend on several factors; boiler pressure, feed water hardness, etc., but is generally on the order of a few hundred ppm.

Packaging and Storage

VpCI-617 is available in 5 gallon (19 liter) pails, 55 gallon (208 liter) drums, liquid totes, and bulk. VpCI-617 should be stored in tightly closed containers in a heated warehouse to avoid freezing.
