Product Description

M-535 is an ashless oil-based corrosion inhibiting formula d e s i g n e d f o r p e t r o l e u m and synthetic lubricants in turbine, hydraulic, circulating, compressor, and gear systems during layup or intermittent operation. M-535 protects the system from corrosion caused by condensed moisture and trapped water that could otherwise lead to the failure of equipment components. Corrosion inhibitors in M-535 protect metal surfaces with which they are in direct contact and release molecules in the vapor phase. These Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitors form a protective molecular l a y e r o n m e t a l s u r f a c e s above the fluid level, allowing economical and efficient rust protection at a low dose. Also, M-535 provides outstanding non-staining properties and is effective in most hydrocarbonbased lubricants (including naphthenic, paraffinic, PAO, etc.).

Also available in a higher viscosity version, M-535 HV.

Packaging and Storage

M-535 is available in 5 gallon (19 L) plastic pails and 55 gallon (208 L) metal drums.

To ensure best product performance, store in original packaging, indoors, and out of direct sunlight at 40-100 °F (4-38 °C).
