Advantages

EcoWeave® offers strength, tear resistance, durability, and protection from corrosion. Many packaging applications require a tear resistant shroud to accommodate the sharp edges of equipment or steel coil during shipment. The woven structure of EcoWeave® will help prevent damage to the shroud, thus preserving the integrity of the VpCI® protection and preventing corrosion from occurring.

Woven polypropylene is a durable, but lightweight material for all your demanding projects. It utilizes a high density polypropylene scrim as its base material and is then coated with a layer containing volatile corrosion inhibitors to provide the proven corrosion protection of Cortec® VpCI® film technology

Metal parts packaged in EcoWeave® receive continuous protection against excessive humidity, condensation, moisture, and aggressive industrial atmospheres. The VpCIs vaporize and then condense on all metal surfaces in an enclosed package. EcoWeave® offers complete product protection during storage, as well as domestic and overseas shipments, virtually eliminating any rust claims. EcoWeave® can be custom manufactured in heavier weights to suit all shipping or storage requirements.
