Hygiea 8500C-Cortec

Product Description

Hygiea 8500C-Cortec is an aqueaous-based industrial cleaner intended for removing oil and grease build-up. Hygiea 8500C-Cortec contains Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitor (VpCI) to prevent corrosion during and after the application.

Hygiea 8500C-Cortec will degrade a wide range of hydrocarbons including: gasoline, diesel, crude oil, benzene, toluene, and ethyl benzene.

Hygiea 8500C-Cortec contains no volatile organic compounds.

Application

Hygiea 8500C-Cortec can be applied with any conventional equipment including sprayers, dipping tanks, and power washers.

Heavy-duty cleaning and corrosion protection:
1 part Hygiea 8500C-Cortec to 5-10 parts water.

Normal cleaning (i.e. parts washing): 
1 part Hygiea 8500C-Cortec to 10-40 parts water.

Light cleaning (i.e. rinsing):
1 part Hygiea 8500C-Cortec to 40-150 parts water.

Use full strength for applications where heavy greases are a factor.

Do not inhale mists and avoid excessive skin contact.

Packaging

Hygiea 8500C-Cortec is available in 5 gallon (19 liter) pails, 55 gallon (208 liter) drums, liquid totes, and bulk. DO NOT FREEZE!
Store in a cool dry location. Shelf life is 2 years.
