Cortec M-110

Product Description

M-110 is an organic corrosion inhibitor that can be used in solvent-based and some waterborne coatings. It is recommended to use between 1% and 3% (by weight) to improve corrosion resistance.

Features

• Excellent corrosion resistance  
• Compatible with majority of solvent based materials and some waterborne coatings 
• Contains no phosphates, chromates, or barium compounds  
• Slight tan color that will not detract from a colorant system

Formulation Notes

• Post add M-110 with mixing for solvent and waterborne coatings  
• Addition to water-based coating may cause an orange peel effect. ByK 346 can be used to eliminate the orange peel  
• Not all waterborne coatings are compatible with M110  
• Start point levels of 1 to 3% (by weight) are recommended
