Product Description

M-605, M-605 L, and M-605 PS are corrosion inhibitors designed specifically as deicing additives to prevent corrosion due to chlorides. M-605 and M-605 L provide protection to ferrous metals. M-605 PS protects both ferrous and aluminum-based alloys.

M-605, M-605 L, and M-605 PS contain no chromate, nitrite, or phosphate inhibitors. These products conform to Pacific Northwest States (PNS) Department of Transportation requirements for additives to deicers and pass their corrosion tests when added to a deicer at a concentration level of 5% by weight.

Packaging & Storage

M-605 L is available in 5 gallon (19 liter) pails, 55 gallon (208 liter) drums, liquid totes, and bulk.

M-605 and M-605 PS are available in 100 pound (45 kg) and 50 pound (23 kg) lined drums, and 5 pound (2.3 kg) boxes.

To ensure best product performance, store in original packaging, indoors, and out of direct sunlight at 40-100 °F (38-100 °C). Shelf life: 2 years
