Cortec VpCI®-378 Water-Reducible Rust Preventative

Product Description

VpCI®-378 is a water-based concentrate designed as a complete replacement for oil-based corrosion preventives. VpCI®-378 forms a brown emulsion in water and is applied to metal surfaces by spraying or dipping. The wide dilution range with water allows flexibility to customize the length of protection required vs. applied cost. The protective coating is also translucent and in ambient conditions becomes dry-totouch 30 minutes from application. VpCI®-378 is designed to be removed with Cortec® VpCI®-414 or other conventional alkaline cleaners.

Packaging and Storage

VpCI-378 is available in 5 gallon (19 liter) pails, 55 gallon (208 liter) drums, liquid totes, and bulk. The product should be stored sealed in a heated warehouse to avoid freezing. VpCI-378 has a shelf life of 24 months.
