Cortec MCI®-2026 Primer WB

Product Description

MCI®-2026 Concrete Primer WB is a proprietary, water-based, 2-component epoxy coating system that outperforms and outlasts most solvent-based sealer systems without the associated odors, flammability, or VOCs. MCI®-2026 Concrete Primer WB coating meets all of the USDA/FDA guidelines for use in federally inspected facilities. MCI®-2026 Concrete Primer WB can be used as a part of the MCI®-2026 flooring system or as a standalone coating system.

Packaging & Storage

MCI®-2026 Concrete Primer WB is available in 2.5 gallon (8.5 L) and 25 gallon (85 L). For larger kit sizes, contact Cortec® Customer Service.

To ensure best product performance, store in original packaging, indoors, and out of direct sunlight at 40-100 °F (4-38 °C).

How it works

By utilizing a unique water-based formulation, MCI®-2026 Primer WB provides a coating that has a low viscosity and no solvent odor. The low viscosity allows for greater substrate penetration, improved handling, and easier application, while the lack of odor makes MCI®-2026 Primer WB inoffensive during indoor applications.

Where to use

MCI®-2026 Concrete Primer WB can be used as either a primer or a standalone concrete sealer. As a primer, MCI®-2026 Concrete Primer WB forms a durable, consistent surface beneficial to many Cortec® MCI® coating systems. MCI®-2026 Concrete Primer WB has no offensive odor and meets all VOC/HAPS regulations, making it an excellent choice for indoor applications.
