Product Description

EcoClean® Scale Remover HP is a heavy-duty scale and rust remover. It is one of the safest fast acting products on the market for dissolving calcium carbonate and oxides. Powerful corrosion inhibitors contained in EcoClean® Scale Remover HP protect the treated metals from flash rust.

EcoClean® Scale Remover HP is an acid replacement technology that uses low pH organic salt to replace traditional harsh mineral and organic acids.

Packaging and Storage

EcoClean® Scale and Rust Remover HP is available in 5 gallon (19 L) pails, 55 gallon (208 L) polyethylene drums, and bulk.
It can be stored in high-density polyethylene, polypropylene, or fiberglass containers. 

To ensure best product performance, store in original packaging, indoors, and out of direct sunlight at 40-100 °F (4-38 °C).

Typical Application

• Safer scale removal on all water-contacting equipment surfaces including heat-exchangers, chillers, condensers, cooling towers, and pipes  
• Safer multi-metal rust removal

Method of Application

Apply EcoClean® Scale and Rust Remover HP undiluted or diluted (up to 1:3 in water) to the surfaces needing treatment, and allow contact time from 5 minutes up to 1 hour, depending on the amount of scale and corrosion. Light abrasion helps removal of loosened scale or corrosion products and speeds up the remover penetration. Rinsing with a neutralizing cleaner such at VpCI®-416 or VpCI®-414 provides further protection.
