EcoLine® 4320/4330

Product Description

EcoLine® 4320 and 4330 are heavy-duty, green chemistry paint strippers designed to remove coatings, inks, and resins from metals, concrete, and wood surfaces. The products are formulated with renewable materials and recycled solvent. They contain 50% USDA certified biobased content and are qualified products under the mandatory federal purchasing initiative of the USDA BioPreferred Program.

EcoLine® 4320 and 4330 have low odor, are made with biodegradable materials, and are VOC compliant to the California Regulation for Reducing Emission from Consumer Products.* They do not contain methylene chloride, NMP (n-methylpyrrolidone), chlorinated solvents, toluene, or acetone. Unlike methylene chloride based products which dry up quickly upon application, the relatively low volatility of EcoLine® 4320 and 4330 allows the products to stay on the surface to soften, penetrate, and remove the coating.

EcoLine® 4320 and 4330 paint strippers are effective on a wide variety of paints and can typically strip alkyds, acrylics, and urethanes in 15 to 30 minutes depending on the numbers of layers and the age of the coating. The products can easily remove permanent marker. EcoLine® 4320 and 4330 also contain a blend of corrosion inhibitor additives to prevent rust and tarnishing throughout the stripping process. This is particularly important when preparing a surface for recoating.

EcoLine® 4320 is a liquid stripping product with high wetting properties for even spreading across coated surfaces.

EcoLine® 4330 is a gelled version that improves surface cling and dwell time for applications on large or complicated objects.

Application 

The products can be used in dip tank applications or be brushed or rolled onto coated surfaces. Once evenly distributed, allow sufficient time for the product to penetrate and soften the coating.

For most coatings, the stripping time is 15-30 minutes. Stripping time for other materials, such as permanent markers and epoxy coatings, can vary and should be determined on an individual basis. Removal can be accomplished by lightly scraping to remove the coating. For large objects and surfaces, pressure washing can be used for quick surface cleaning. Coatings with multiple layers may require multiple applications for complete removal.

Notes:

• Use EcoLine® 4320 in dip tanks and on horizontal surfaces.  
• Use EcoLine® 4330 on vertical, overhead, or complex surfaces.  
• The product comes ready to use. Do not dilute.  
• Stripping waste should be contained and disposed of according to local regulations.
