EcoLine® Rail Curve Grease, Winter/Summer, are premium quality biobased, biodegradable greases designed to meet heavy-duty lubrication needs where rail curve greases are used. The application of grease to reduce friction between train wheels and curved rails is an important part of preventive maintenance that increases rail and wheel lifetime, reducing downtime and high costs associated with rail and wheel replacements. By applying EcoLine® Rail Curve Grease, rail companies can minimize friction and wear between railroad tracks and wheel flanges in an environmentally responsible manner.*

EcoLine® Rail Curve Grease, Winter, contains 80% USDA certified biobased content. EcoLine® Rail Curve Grease, Summer, contains 86% USDA certified biobased content. Both are qualified products under the mandatory federal purchasing initiative of the USDA BioPreferred® program.**

Application

EcoLine® Rail Curve Greases are designed for wayside applicators on rail curves. They are recommended for heavy load applications such as coal trains and are also ideal for hi-rail application.

EcoLine® Rail Curve Grease, Winter, is ideal for prolonged cold temperatures. Use in temperature ranges between 0 to 100 °F (-17 to 37 °C).

EcoLine® Rail Curve Grease, Summer, is ideal for use in temperatures between 35 to 160 °F (2 to 71 °C).

Packaging and Storage

Available in 14 ounce (396 g) cartridges (12 per carton), 5 gallon (19 liter) pails, and 55 gallon (208 liter) drums.

To ensure best product performance, store in original packaging, indoors, and out of direct sunlight at 40-100 °F (4-38 °C).

Shelf life: 2 years
