CorrCap VpCI® Protective Cover

This “shower cap style” protective cover is made from worldwide patented VpCI^®-126 4 mil film, and designed to protect exposed bare metal parts from corrosion during domestic and export shipments. VpCI^® CorrCaps are used by placing on the ends of electrical connectors, engines, brakes, or many other exposed components. Typical application includes corrosion protection of disc braking systems during assembly operations and factory road testing. The CorrCaps remain in place until pre-inspection at the dealer, where they are taken off of the brake assemblies. The VpCI^'s volatilize migrate with air, and condense on metal surfaces forming a thin, uniform, and extremely effective corrosion inhibiting barrier.
