Product Description

CorroLogic® CorrPlug® powered by Nano VpCI® is a heavy wall black polyethylene pipe cap containing proprietary Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitors (VpCI®). CorroLogic® CorrPlug® pipe caps protect pipe threads, pipe ends, and other tubular objects from corrosion, mechanical damage, and contamination during transit, handling, and storage. CorroLogic® CorrPlug® pipe caps are specially designed for easy installation and removal. They offer protection all the way to the last pipe thread.

CorroLogic® CorrPlug® pipe caps are made to order in most standard NPT pipe sizes ranging from 0.25 to 64 inches (0.6 cm to 1.6 m) in diameter. For protection along the full interior pipe length, CorroLogic® CorrPlug® pipe caps should be used in combination with other VpCI® products such as CorroLogic® Tube Strips powered by Nano VpCI®, VpCI®-337, or VpCI® powders.

Application

Install CorroLogic® CorrPlug® pipe caps onto pipe ends by sliding or “screwing” the appropriate sized CorroLogic® CorrPlug® over the threads. Standard plastic or metal banding should be used to secure CorrPlug® to ensure protection.

Packaging and Storage

CorroLogic® CorrPlug® pipe caps are available in custom sizes from 0.25 to 64 inches (0.6 cm to 1.6 m) in diameter. Please contact Cortec® Customer Service for additional information on specific sizes and minimum order quantities. CorroLogic® CorrPlug® powered by Nano VpCI® should be stored indoors at room temperature sealed in original packaging. Shelf life is up to 2 years.
