Product Description

Eco Wrap® is a specialty certified compostable wrapping film made with certified compostable resin plus a tackifier additive. Eco Wrap® is designed to run on existing stretch film equipment by simply adjusting the tension setting. Eco Wrap® users can benefit from material/waste reduction in the following ways. First, most applications requiring three wraps of standard film can use two wraps of Eco Wrap® without sacrificing strength or protection. Second, Eco Wrap® is commercially certified compostable* and may avoid tariffs, fines, and tip fees in areas where polyethylene is prohibited or restricted. Eco Wrap® is shelf and curb stable and will retain its integrity until disposed of properly.

Packaging and Storage

Available in 1 or 1.5 mil (25 or 38.1 µm) thicknesses, 20” or 30” (50.8 or 76.2 cm) widths, individually boxed rolls or pallet pack.

To ensure best product performance, store in original packaging, indoors, and out of direct sunlight at 40-100 °F (4-38 °C).

Application

Eco Wrap® is a great stretch film alternative to conventional polyethylene films for shipping and storage applications. It can be used anywhere a stretch film is needed. Eco Wrap® is easily applied by adjusting (typically increasing) the tension on standard automatic “stretch wrapping” equipment.

*This product is intended to be composted in a commercial composting facility operated in accordance with best management practices. Check locally to see if such a facility exists in your community and if they will accept this product. Not suitable for backyard composting.
