Product Description

M-5120 is a patented, water-based corrosion inhibitor solution that can be added to water-based skin film primers and other coatings. With the addition of M-5120 to a skin film primer, excellent corrosion protection is achieved in the contact layer (metal/primer), as well as a significant increase in corrosion protection in the vapor phase (inside the package). This is due to the Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitors (VpCIs) contained within M-5120.

General Information

M-5120 may be added to other products in a 0.5% to 4% solution by weight. It is easily blended into a formulation at any stage of manufacture.

Packaging and Storage

M-5120 is available in 5 gallon (19 liter) pails, 55 gallon (208 liter) drums, liquid totes and bulk. M-5120 should be stored in tightly sealed containers of metal, glass or polyolefin plastic at temperatures above 32ºF (0ºC). Maximum storage temperature is 120ºF (50ºC).
